From Audrey Hepburn's little black dresses to Marilyn Monroe's platinum locks, the stars of Hollywood have often set the trends that the rest of the country soon followed. Today, no different, I guess. The current special issue of "People" magazine, Hollywood Style, focuses on the secrets of celebrities. And the executive editor, Susan Toepfer, is joining us now with a look. Nice to have you back. SUSAN TOEPFER, Executive Editor, "People" Magazine: Hi, Charlie. CHARLES GIBSON: What's going on in Hollywood? What are the fashion trends in Hollywood? SUSAN TOEPFER: Well, the great thing this year is that glamour is back. We're through with grunge, and the stars are really putting on the dog for the awards shows. CHARLES GIBSON: Some of the people you use as illustrations of setting trends are interesting. You start with Lucy Lawless? SUSAN TOEPFER: Absolutely, Lucy Lawless. CHARLES GIBSON: Have you seen the television show? SUSAN TOEPFER: Xena, of course, the warrior woman. CHARLES GIBSON: Right, I'm... SUSAN TOEPFER: Well, as Xena the warrior woman, Lucy Lawless has started a trend toward armbands. But more important, she's brought back the full bang, cut straight across the forehead. LISA McREE, Host: We all had that at some point in our grade school years. Two other sort of classic beauties, I think, in that category, Claire Danes and Cameron Diaz. [snip]
