GAYS' MARDI GRAS PULLS IN OZ CROWDS;
 Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras celebrated in Sydney  

    A million people joined a huge street party for Sydney's spectacular
Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras last night.  

      About 8,000 people marched in the parade, the most outrageous gay
event ever staged.  

    And the highlight was lesbian icon Xena, Warrior Princess, alias New
Zealand actress Lucy Lawless.  

    Lucy jetted in after hearing that an entire float had been dedicated to
her TV character.  

    She was joined by about 120 Xena impersonators.
