No Longer Alone

For years I was alone.
Surrounded by an army
But no one that
I really trusted.

Anyone who stood
In my way, I crushed
Everywhere I went
People cowered in fear.
I was hated and dispised.

And when I tried to change
I found myself
Even more alone.

Until I met her.
She never feared me.
And was willing to
Be my friend,
Though I didn't deserve her.

But now she is
More than my friend.
She's part of my
Heart and soul.
And I know that I am
No longer alone.
