02 Centerpiece Story - Redditch

The road has been good to us this trip. I heard about this new playwright named William Shakespeare, whose works I believe will be read for years to come. So, my beloved Xena surprised me by taking me to see his plays

performed.

It was phenomenal!! The words, by the gods, were amazing and flowing, I have never heard such eloquence along with structure… what a talent! The only criticism I had was with the costumes… not so much the costumes, but the construction. It seems that they kept falling apart!!

And he claimed that they were going to revolutionize sewing. And, you know, he was right.  After the show we were conversing with several members of the staff and Xena happened to have one of those metal needles that she had "procured" from the lad from Redditch. And ‘lo and behold’, the costumes

fell on those people like hungry wolves!

From what I heard after we were back in Greece, several theatre troupes were now using the now famous Redditch needles. I suppose you could say that the Redditch needles are really being used all over The Globe…
