New Artwork and Bitch Slap Interview with Lucy and Renee

Added my new artwork based on Lucy's San Francisco concert which was held in Sep 08 Click here to view the artwork - it's available in two sizes: 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 This is absolutely hysterical - Lucy and Renee are interviewed as Mother Superior and Sister Batril in a new video released on the Xena Fan Club page for the upcoming Bitch Slap move. Lucy's accent just kills me (I was fully expecting her to go into Absolutely Fabulous mode) and Renee has some zingers of her own. It's a class act. These two work so well together it's a crime they don't team up more often. I absolutely loved this clip and had me laughing so much. Check it out here

Xena Episode Review Season 1 Ep 24 Is There A Doctor...

Added episode review for the Season 1, Episode 24: Is There A Doctor In the House by Sheryl-Lee The Story So Far: Xena and Gabrielle find themselves caught up in a bloody war, while Ephiny is very close to getting her first pony. This episode might look like it’s all about Xena – her decision to try to single-handedly end a war and the consequences of that, but dig a little deeper and you’ll find it’s just as much Gabrielle’s story. Up to this point Gabrielle has been left behind in every passing village when things start to hot up. In Death Mask, the previous episode, she actually refuses Xena’s request for the first time to be dumped like cold leftovers. New TV Show Alert!

I think I'm in love with a new show - Sanctuary starring Amanda Tapping (from Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis). This is such a superb show. A little reminiscent of the other amazing show Torchwood. I've seen the webisodes on YouTube and there is a TV series which is starting this week. If you haven't caught this show before - here's a recommendation, it's awesome. Love shows like this and if you haven't seen Torchwood..wow. It's a Dr Who spinoff that is SUPERB. Getting back to Sanctuary - check out the super cool website devoted to the show - no it's not an AUSXIP subsite...there has to be some time left in my life to devote to other things other than creating new sites...I did think about it but I need that spare hour <g> That's my Sunday recommendations! Xena Photo Club Scans - July 2008

Added scans from the Xena Photo Club for July 2008 which are Episode Stills for the Season 6 episode "Old Ares Had a Farm" with Kevin Smith. This episode was just a great excuse to show off Kevin's muscles (which I didn't mind one little bit - the guy was adorable and we all miss him so much) and to give Lucy and Renee a chance to have some fun which of course they did. That bed scene was just hysterical. This episode also produced that funny "interview" where Renee said that she was taller than Lucy and that Lucy had to stand on a box. Cracks me up every time. Lucy in Concert - Pictures!

First pictures are coming through! Lucy looked FANTASTIC and the concert was a success. Lori reports: concert was great as usual.  most of the same songs from citywalk with the additions of total eclipse, wide awake, and damn I wish I was you lover. the encore...she came out asked the audience what style they wanted her to sing "Bitch" in....the audience yelled out and she did it bluegrass...then blues. hilarious!!!!
