Lake Wainamu. The view from the top of the giant black volcanic sand dune overlooking the lake from Fins Femmes & Gems, to name but one of many episodes. It is also the lake Xena and Gabrielle are forever fishing out of and being fished out of.

This is taken just a bit further to the left of the above lake picture. It shows all that reedy area by the waters edge that is so commonly seen in Xena. The hills to the left side were once echoing with the megaphoned voice of God from Altared States who was sounding awfully like Karl Urban at the time.
