ACT II
LASHUND C. JOHNSON
CHAPTER I-EMILY’S STORY
It was two weeks before St. Valentine Day in 2369 when the Enterprise arrived at Acuario, a planetary space station. The planet, itself, was over 80 percent water. We stayed at Neptune City, one of the largest cities of the Aqua-Earth. As the crewmembers roam around on the space station, Lashunda took a walk in watery atmosphere. She was two miles from the station as she strolled on the sea ground. Lashunda wore a white underwater-styled environmental suit and felt like an astronaut on the moon. For a brief time, she stared up at the sodden heavens and just barely saw the bright sun through crystal blue nectars.
After an hour went by, Lashunda returned to the station and removed her underwater suit. She walked down the corridor to reach the station’s computer. The young teen wore a tan and black Vulcan jumpsuit, a sleeveless light tan mock turtleneck; black ankle boots, clear lip moisturizer, and black fanny pack. Her lengthy black curls hung down with a middle part. The young Starfleet officer scanned the station’s directory. As the computer continued to probe, she put her locks in a French roll with two long hair sticks that got from her fanny pack. Later she added some small plastic tan and white hair clips to keep her hairstyle firmly in place.
Shortly afterwards, Shun-Luc entered the Sea Quest Museum, which was mostly the ship. The ancient vessel was slightly remodeled for the display. Lashunda was stunned from the ship’s mast size and thought that it was able to handle itself well if the former Earth sub had a chance to fight the Enterprise. As she inhaled the aged underwater ship’s scent, it brought out many good emotions. She walked further inside of the museum happily.
Subsequently thirty moments went by, Lt. Spencer went to the crew exhibition. She looked at the photos of the famous yet ever-changing crew. She stayed in the museum for another hour before she left to her quarters. Meanwhile, I listened to my new music recordings in my bedroom as I pondered about the choice of DJ to play music for the upcoming dance. Soon it came to me.
Several moments later, I knocked on the door. Someone opened it. Within a second, I was face to face with Lashunda. I wore a long-sleeved pink and white tee shirt with a golden winged unicorn on it; black and white floral ankle-length skirt, black belt, and pink and white L. A. Gear hi-tops while my lips were covered ice pink lip gloss. My lengthy locks were pulled back with pink and white headband. I smiled and she returned it.
"Hi," I spoke.
"Hello Emily," she responded, "Please come in." I went in.
"Oh Lashunda, would you like to be the DJ for the St. Valentine’s dance?"
"Sure," she answered without a miss of a heartbeat.
CHAPTER II-LOUISA’S STORY
It had been five weeks since the T’Pagh had been lost in space. As we sailed through unknown space, it was almost like business as usual. Lashunda’s hideous features slowly began to fade. Her black silky curls were now two-thirds down her large chest. She recently gained some self-confidence about her appearance because last week LaShun underwent a mild depression. As I worked in the tactical area of the Bridge, the Starfleet Yeoman piloted the ship. Yeoman Spencer wore a black Klingon uniform mock turtleneck underneath her sleeveless standard black Klingon uniform; black Klingon fanny pack; Klingon uniform black hi-top sneakers; dark aqua lip gloss; and Klingon communicator on her left shoulder. The sides of her black mane were pulled into a ponytail while the rest hung down.
Suddenly, a wormhole opened up. It appeared that it had light blue water inside. The Klingon ship started to rock and went through many sides when the wormhole sucked it in. Within seconds, the T’Pagh merged with Sea Quest, an underwater Earth ship. Lashunda looked at the screen and noticed that it was ocean blue as fish swam by. At first, she thought that she was in dream but really she wasn’t. When she looked about, she realized that she had on a white mock turtleneck and a blue UEO uniform, which was entitled with both her name and rank. In her reflection from the helm controls, she was in complete human form. The rest of the T’Pagh crew was also in full human form.
"Holly Crap!" Lashunda cried as she discovered more surprises. The new vessel presently had a double Bridge. The Sea Quest Bridge was on the higher level while the Captain’s area of the T’Pagh Bridge was below it and the rest of the Klingon Bridge surrounded both areas. Eight large steps with handrails connected the two floors. Unfortunately, Captain Nathan Bridger slipped and fell into the Captain’s extended oval-shaped area. Several "former" Klingon officers rushed to his aid.
Shortly following, many of the new crewmembers fainted while some became confused. When my first shift finished after several hours, I walked toward my quarters. As I continued to stroll, I noticed that the Sickbay was now twofold its size. Dr. Grer’ta, the T’Pagh CMO, joined me. He was a 6’3 rather young Klingon man with long wavy locks, purple eyes, dark mocha brown skin, full lips, a small Klingon medical tattoo on his right facial cheek, and a thick British accent. He wore a long-sleeved tan standard UEO Doctor uniform, a ponytail, and a white lab coat.
"This is some fluctuating experience." He broke the silence. His voice was like Laurence Olivier yet slightly deeper.
"You're telling me." I remarked.
"Say, do you want to eat at the bistro?"
"Okay, let’s go." Then we changed direction and went to the Mess Hall. As we entered the cafeteria, we became stunned. The new dining room was big as Memphis State University’s Tiger Den and strangely had its appearance as well. The two cardinal cooks prepared the food while Lashunda stood the liquid pump’s foot stands and pumped the red lemonade. LaShun wore a dark tan pants-styled cook’s assistant uniform, matching chef’s hat with a rather long baseball cap brim, a black apron, and black Reeboks.
Dr. Grer’ta and I went to the vendor machines, which were bolted to the walls. First, I took out a mini disk from my shoulder pouch and slid it between two electronic slates. A primed meal of Tortellini-Caesar salad, a medium-sized vanilla shake, two pink-covered chocolate cupcakes emerged on a tray. The doctor did the same thing but he had Vegetarian Lentil Paella, a mediocre bottle of grapefruit juice, and a piece of peach pie. Soon we found a nearby table and began to eat when Lt. Krieg, the Sea Quest Supply and Morale Officer came to us with his food tray and asked to join us. We accepted his offer before he sat with us.
NARRATOR’S STORY
After a month passed, the merge ended and the ships went their separate ways when the strange wormhole resurfaced. The two crews terribly missed each other. The T’Pagh sailed quietly in unascertained space as the crew worked busily as they tried to forget the underwater ship and its crew. Captain Turok sat in his command chair and exhaled. The alien captain wished that he were still on the merged ship as his eyes dropped.
Three years later, Lashunda, Emily, and Anna played mini-golf at the Tiger Woods Mini-Golf Center. The St. Valentine Day Dance was now five hours away. The dance was moved to the Atelier 80 Disco since the Enterprise extended its stay thanks to Starfleet Headquarters’ orders. Lashunda wore a light peach polo shirt, black and peach pants, black FILAs, peaches and cream lip gloss and a ponytail while Emily wore a red Pegasus T-shirt, denim pants, red Nike hi-tops, a red and white Nike visor, and clear lip gloss. Anna wore white sleeveless top, orange pants; white and orange L. A. Gear hi-tops; light orange lip-gloss; and several braided ponytails. It was Anna’s turn to play as they came to the second hole, which was near a sand trap.
When two hours went by, they left. As they walked near the Docking Bay Six, Lashunda nearly bumped into Capt. Prasty and Lt. Cmdr. Pobe (F?b) Richardson. Her first name began with a "f" sound and rhymed with robe. Pobe was a 5’8 full Australian Aborigine with slightly curly shoulder-length tresses, a rather wide nose, brimming yet sulky lips, large dark coffee eyes, smooth swarthy mocha brown skin, and Audrey Hepburn-like eyebrows. She, who was four years older than Lashunda, was Abba’s tutor while Pobe was still an Enterprise junior officer in the Engineering Department. In 2367, LaForge recommended the young Australian prodigy to Capt. Prasty before her transfer to the Bronte. Pobe was presently the ship’s head engineer.
Capt. Prasty was in his standard red uniform and carried a black Starfleet gym bag while he wore a ponytail. Lt. Cmdr. Richardson wore a typical gold uniform and carried a black medium-sized backpack. Her black mane was pulled back with black headband and her lips was covered with clear moisturizer. The young teens greeted the Bronte crewmembers as several Enterprise crewmembers walked past them. They talked for a while before they parted ways.
When the St. Valentine Dance started, Lashunda played Van Halen’s "Everybody Want Some" on her Deluxe DJ-styled Mini-Stereo as she wore blue and black hooded sweats, black Nike hi-tops, a ponytail, and clear lip gloss and was on a somewhat large side second level stage. Her large black round earphones rested on her neck. The sequential song was the Cardigans’ "Love Fool". Many of the partygoers danced while others either sat at tables or stood near the walls. Surprisingly, innumerable Starfleet officers were there.
As the music continued, Cmdr. Riker, who was in his standard uniform, waved at Lashunda. She waved back as Garth Brooks’ "The Dance" came on. When the song went to the third line of its lyrics, Wesley showed up. He was on shore leave with several of his classmates. He wore a yellow and white-buttoned shirt, black pants, and black boots. As he looked around, Lashunda instantly noticed him and put on her light blue bubble shades. Luckily, he didn’t recognize her when he looked at the DJ briefly. Soon he walked away and sat at a table that was near the bar.
WESLEY’S STORY
I liked Garth Brooks’ "The Dance" very much, because it reminded of the early times of my somewhat intimate relationship with Lashunda. It was also one of the first songs that we ever slow danced to while we were "dating". Ironically, she seemed kind of better than my other dates. Maybe it had something to do with our previous knowledge of each other. A variety of people, especially my mom, remarked that we were meant for each other. My mom once told me that Lashunda was a potential bride for me. I thought that she was kidding since I didn’t see her as a girlfriend. Shun was more like one of the guys that I hang with.
In 2364 on my birthday, Lashunda gave me a sliver Vulcan horse pendant, which I still had. As I thanked her, she timidly grinned. I embraced her with a strong hug and whispered another thanks near her ear. Her almost shoulder-length curls felt soft while her body were warm and gentle like a teddy bear. She wore a blue flowing ankle-length uniform dress with long sleeves, black Starfleet ankle boots, black Starfleet fanny pack, light bumble gum lip-gloss, and a puffy medium-length Beatles bop. As the other officers gave me their presents, Lashunda backed away and stood next to Capt. Picard.
Shortly afterwards, I sometimes gave her private affections yet had only friendly endearment for her. She was also my secret dance partner. We practiced our ballroom dance moves in a secluded Hologram Room. Ironically, we did our final dance together to "Written In The Stars" by Elton John and Leann Rimes in the Hologram Room. Within two months, she turned on me with a hard slap to the face on the Bridge.
As I returned to the present, Tom Jones’ "Promise Her Anything" came on. The next song was U2’s "One". As I ordered a drink, I watched the dancing guests. Devon and Emily walked past by me and went to a booth near the back. When my order arrived, I took a sip and saw Capt. Prasty come in. He wore a long sleeved dark gray shirt, black pants, black wingtips, and a ponytail. He waved to me before he sat at a table that near Riker and Fastball’s "Out of My Head" started.
CHAPTER III-JESSICA’S STORY
Meanwhile on Vulcan III, I cut inconsiderable more slices of the vanilla-flavored St. Valentine cake while Tommy stayed in the closed living room and watched movies. Othella served the punch as my children and some of their friends enjoyed the St. Valentine party. Othella, who was two years younger than me, was my close friend as well as my children’s godmother. Othella Wallychuck Quinn, who was six years older than Lashunda, was Admiral Quinn’s daughter. She was a 5’10 woman with smooth chocolate skin, emerald green eyes, shapely large ruby lips, slightly thick eyebrows, a rather long yet svelte nose, voluminous straight lengthy black locks, muscular yet slender frame, and a deep-throated voice like Tim Curry yet infinitesimally higher. Secretly, she was a Sutant. I was one of the few who knew about it.
I wore a long-sleeved black and peach jumper dress, matching British Knights, a puffy mod bop, light peach lip-gloss, and a thin silver bracelet. Othella wore a white and gray long-sleeved David Cassidy tee shirt, black and gray pinstripe pants, light silver lip-gloss, a braided ponytail with a crooked middle part, black hiker boots, and several silver hippie rings on both hands. Recently, she helped Tommy regain his former looks with her powers. Last month she met Lashunda on Earth Prime when Othella visited her father. For years, Othella knew that Lashunda was her father’s friend since Adm. Quinn told many things about her to his daughter.
After her visit, Othella told me that Lashunda and Othella encountered before during their numerous previous lives. Once in Medieval England, Othella was Zanis, a powerful young sorcerer. She was Merlin’s former student. Zanis was like Othella but with brown eyes, long beaded braids, and a thick ancient English accent. The young sorceress was a recluse who lived near Orestes, a rather enormous kingdom that was a good distance away from Camelot. Orestes’ ruler at the time was Iolaus. Iolaus bore a remarkable resemblance to Capt. Prasty. Unlike the Starfleet officer, King Iolaus had slightly straight shoulder-length honey blonde locks, an aristocratic Medieval English accent, and slightly tanned complexion. Lashunda was Queen Essie, Iolaus’ wife. The Queen was very similar to Lashunda but with more human features and a mixed accent of African and British. Both Essie and Zanis were daughters of Amazon warriors from different tribes. Essie’s mother was a tribal Amazon queen from Africa while her father was Egyptian prince. Zanis’ mother was an African Amazon witch doctor while her father was a Zulu warrior.
Essie was a nomadic aristocrat before she married Iolaus. Surprisingly, her parents were happy that she wedded even though they discovered it several months after her wedding. The two women were close and fought many battles together. Othella knew this from her dreams. In addition to, there were written records, portraits, and the Orestes Royal Castle as proofs of their existence.
Othella also had the ingenuity to travel through time and to parallel universe. Two months ago, I accidentally traveled with her to Ancient Greece and met Hercules and Iolaus. When we first arrived, Othella changed our modern garments into the era’s attire with the snap of her fingers. Shortly afterwards, we helped the famous heroes with some troubled villagers and quickly discovered that they were nice guys. Oddly, they both greatly reminded of some acquaintances from our time.
As our stay continued, I noticed that Hercules had a small crush on Othella. He would behave a little clumsy and goofy around her. Her nickname for him was "Doll", which made the interaction between the Greek demi-god and the Sutant beauty more awkward. Iolaus, the other witness, remarked publicly that Hercules acted like a jaunty schoolboy and needed to act like his age. Moreover, Hercules didn’t care since he started to have fun with Othella.
My mind went to the present when I unintentionally popped one of the red balloons as I tried to remove it from the dining room table. I chuckled with the kids and Othella as I calmly recovered from the loud surprise. Tommy peeped through the small opening of the living room door to check on us. Soon he winked at me and quietly closed the door. I smiled and shook my head slowly before my full attention came back to the party.
NARRATOR’S STORY
A few months had passed as the Enterprise sailed through space. Lashunda walked down the corridor with many dogs on their leases. She wore a deep pink long-sleeved Sonic Youth tee shirt, black bell bottoms, black 10-inched platform boots, Bo Derek braids with multi-colored Vulcan beads, clear lip gloss, and a black fanny pack. As she walked the Sickbay, she blew a rather big bubble in her bumble gum before she silently popped it. She thought about the T’Pagh reunion, which was a year ago.
She was glad to see her former crewmembers again. To her surprise, the rest of the survivors were still on the T’Pagh. During the second day of the reunion, five crewmembers, including Lashunda, performed. The band played traditional Klingon musical instruments as they covered many songs. Abba played on a black Klingon banjo and was lead vocals on most of the cover tunes. On some of the numbers, they intoned in Klingonese.
After the reunion, Lashunda returned to the Enterprise. Her adopted father, Krom, and Summer, her aunt, visited her the following day. Their guest quarters were near Lashunda’s. Whereas he visited her many times before, it was Summer’s very first stay on the Enterprise. Summer had heard about many stories about her niece’s Starfleet ship.
Michael Krom Chamberlain Spencer, who was actually Lashunda’s maternal uncle, was a stout 6’7 physician with faded coal black skin, almost waist-length black thick wavy tresses, and a large crooked nose. Though Krom had a noteworthy semblance to Channy, his features were more Klingon. He was a Starfleet physician with a full commander rank on the USS Roosevelt and used his middle name yet his shipmates called him Mick. Since he missed his family profoundly, he left the UFP to become a Terran doctor after six years of service on the Roosevelt. From then on, he lived quietly in Memphis. When Lashunda was two, he adopted her. Mick taught her to play the guitar and introduced the young prodigy to rock music.
Summer Krit’ba Baez Spencer-Moore, who was the eldest of the Spencer siblings, was a scarcely large 7’1 woman with black long straight mane, a long yet tiny nose, large brown eyes, extremely high facial cheekbones, dark brown skin, puffy V-shaped lips, and a smooth baby voice. She bore some resemblance to the twins, Ethel and Sara. She was a Terran quantum physicist and spoke many different languages, which included Ancient Klingonese, Ancient English, and Navajo. She was a former member of The Pollard Crows, a polka rock band before they became popular.
"Hi Dad. Hello Aunt Summer," said Lashunda when they came in her quarters. Lt. Spencer hugged them before they went for a walk with her. Krom wore hooded gray and yellow sweats, black British Knights, a ponytail, and a gold wedding band. Summer wore a pink and black jogging suit, black Converse sneakers, a white Kermit the frog T-shirt, dark pink lip gloss, Heidi braids, and a small black backpack.
CHAPTER IV
Devon and Emily celebrated their third wedding anniversary. Emily was now two months pregnant with their first child and Devon was ecstatic. The baby was contrived in their bedroom late one evening on a full purple moon. It was started when Emily kissed Devon on the back of his neck. Slowly she went down as she took off his pajamas. As her lips came to the middle of his back, she placed on her hand on his stomach. Later she made him rest on his back without a top. Then she quietly massaged his back. Suddenly she grabbed by the hair and exposed her strong passion on him. During the ten-hour ravenous lovemaking, Emily was mostly in control. All of those lengthy years of yoga had finally paid off.
For Devon, he saw his wife’s dark side for the very first time. Despite his robust god-like powers, he was no match to her immense sexuality. He became a shrieking slut before the presence of the purple moon. His long blond mane whipped about constantly as his incredible body trembled greatly from the extremely unprecedented copulation. When it was over, Devon collapsed with tremendous sweat and shortness of breath. He felt like a train hit him twice.
The day ensuing the third wedding anniversary, Devon and his niece, Lacey, rode on Magic in the Making while Emily and Jack watched them nearby. Lacey and Jack were staying with them for a while. Magic in the Making, whose owner was Emily, was one of the family pets. Devon and Emily had two ferrets, a dog, two horses, and a parakeet. The ferrets, which belonged to Emily, were Milo and Pepper. The dog, which belonged to Devon, was Pegasus. The horses were Magic in the Making and Wild Wing while the parakeet was Dulcimer. Devon owned Wild Wing while Dulcimer belonged to Emily.
As Devon and Lacey continued to ride, Pegasus joined Emily and Jack. Jack petted the Golden Retriever, as Emily felt nauseous. Soon the queasiness passed. Emily pondered about baby names as Devon and Lacey finished their ride. Lacey helped her uncle put Magic in the Making back in the stable.
