Region 1 DVD News & Lucy/Renee Commentary
On the 14th August I added information from Creation that the Season 1 and Season 2 DVDS for Region 1 (US/Canada) will have commentary from Lucy, Renee and Rob. Since then Xena Torres has written to Anchor Bay and she received a reply from the President of the company

NEW XENA PROPS READY FOR ORDER!!
For years now, we've been hearing from loyal Xena fans that they want the ability to
purchase a number of props/costume items that have not been offered previously.
It is important to us to be able to deliver only items made by the New Zealand propmakers
that worked on Xena, so we can insure that they are exactly the same as the ones used in
the series.
After months of negotiation we have been able now, for the first time, to offer
these items to you... XENA'S GAUNTLETS and XENA'S UPPER ARMBANDS. In the past we've
been able to get just a few XENA WHIPS and SWORD SCABBARDS from New Zealand, but now we
are able to get more as well.
Because these are all hand-crafted, they can take up to 3 months to deliver. And,
since the Xena prop team no longer is actively working on the series, we need to pre-pay
them a substantial portion of the order to get production started. That basically
means that charges for the items need to be run upon order and the wait could be up to 90
days (it is usually faster, but we want to be as conservative as possible).

- During the Roman Empire, General Crassius ruled a small

This good news comes from Lunacy about the Season 1 DVDs in the US (Region 1)
I just received a call from a sales lady at Davis/Panzer (the
company that produces the XWP/HERCULES videos) and she informed me that season one of XWP
on DVD is now available for ordering in the US - $99.95 + $9.95 for shipping, $109.90

Xena: Beauty and Brawn card set. This 72-card set will be printed on Silver Gemkote™
Reflective paper stock and features 1 autograph and 2 costume cards per box! Fans can look
for autograph cards signed by Vicky Pratt as Cyane, Jeremy Callaghan as Pompey, Darien
Takle as Cyrene, Erik Thomson as Hades, Meg Foster as Hera, Marie Matiko as both K'ao Hsin
and Pao S'su and more! Collectors should also keep an eye out for two different
dual-autograph cards. The first signed by Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor as Xena and
Gabrielle and the other signed by Hudson Leick and Renee O'Connor as Callisto and Hope.
