that Lucy will be hosting an hour long program called "Gladiatrix." It
follows the discovery and offers clues about women who were gladiatrix (female gladiators)
and who may have earned their living through blood sport. The special recreates through
dramatization life in the late Roman Empire, so oft-celebrated in epic sword-and-sandals

note from Kevin's agent regarding the Kevin Smith Trust Fund.
The family is starting to cope with the reality of it all, but
there are so many reminders of Kevin around the place. Restaurants, cafes and friends all
have photos of him. A series about animals called "Funny Farm," made last year,
has started showing and is narrated by the hero dog "Hercules" voiced by Kevin.
The trust fund currently stands at NZ $200,000 which is going to the education of his
boys. Sue is absolutely overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone's donations. I am having
lunch with Suzanne and Kevin's parents on Thursday so will pass on everyone's best wishes.

this incredible gurgling noise. They both giggled. It was a walk down memory lane starting
with the first time Xena and Gabrielle appeared on screen together in "Sins Of The
Past." Gabrielle is trying to convince Xena to take her away from her boring village
life and dull fiance into a world of adventure. As the images came up on the TV, Renee
looked over at Lucy, "Do you remember filming this?" "I do actually,"
Lucy said. "I remember meeting you that first week and you would look at me like . .
." "You're a goddess!" Renee finished Lucy's sentence and they both
laughed. "Well, that's over," Lucy remarked wryly. "By the fifth season you
were punching me in the stomach." And that set the tone for the afternoon.

This site is dedicated to Xena and Gabrielle, two heroic women, and as much as we would like to think they are real, they are not.
We do have strong
women who are wonderful role models and real heroes in this world. Next month sees the
first anniversary of the world shattering events of September 11. I would like to tell you
about a book that was published in July by two women regarding the heroic efforts women
played on the tragic date in NYC. It contains interviews with many women who worked at
Ground Zero. These women are true heroes.

The Xenaverse has been my playground for nearly 6 years now. I totally adore the show but for me the Xenaverse is the friends I have made above all else. This is why I'm cross posting a note from the merwolfpup list. This is about a friend of mine Susan Mullarky who needs all your positive thoughts and prayers. This community of ours is small and the friends we make have enriched our lives.
Many of you know Susan Mullarki, one of our distinguished
Amazon Elders, many of you know her personally. Susan has been diagnosed with a malignant,
cancerous tumor which is inoperable. The tumor is causing a lot of pain and has been
responsible for some paralysis. Because of the pain,she's had to sleep in a sitting
position which is not too restful. Susan began daily radiation treatments last week
in the hope of shrinking the tumor so that her pain will diminish. We should new in
another week or two if the radiation is having the desired effect. Susan has lived a long
life, she's is a veteran of many battles fought to improve the life of gay people.
She was also been victimized because of her sexuality. When our beloved Tonya Muir
told us she was sick with cancer (the cancer that eventually took her life), Susan was one
of the first people to actively participate in the support efforts we conducted on behalf
of Tonya. When Tonya died, she was the first person I called so we could console
each other. She's told me a few times she's not afraid of dying. Right now she
could use our support. A note letting her know you are thinking about her and
praying for less pain would be welcome. Pup power is always welcome. On one of our
recent conversations we were talking about the pack and what a remarkable group of people
the pups are. She is able to get to the computer and type some when the pain is not too
bad. It is very hard for me to write this note knowing that sooner than later I will
be losing another great friend. Yet I know that the positive thoughts and prayers of
a group like this can extend life a little further. Let Susan know you are thinking
about her. I try to call her at least once a week to keep abreast of her

- 'Ultimate DVD' magazine has a VCD cover mount disc of a
complete 'Maternal Instincts', plus clips from a few other X:WP eps from Season 3, such as
'The Debt Pt 2' and 'The King Of Assassins'. It's introduced by the editor of the mag
telling you how wonderful X:WP is as a series. And at the back of the mag there is a nice
cut out label for the VCD that you can insert into a DVD case, should you want to make it
official looking. The quality is surprisingly good for a VCD, though not up to a true

Celebrity Big Brother (Channel 10) - Australia Only
Those not following celebrity big brother may want
to tune in this weekend to see Xena Princess Warrior in the house trying to kill Big
Brother. Comedian Gabby Millgate's Xena alter-ego appeared in the house today and
segments of this should be shown on Sunday. Also, another fomer Xena actor Celebrity Big
Brother heads up - Jay La'gaia will be entering the house for a celebrity sleepover and
will stay until he is either evicted or kicked out by Big Brother.
