As many of you know I started Ausxip because I wanted a place for my art. The site kinda grew from what I originally had in mind <g> but I've continued to create my artwork based on Xena and of course Lucy and Renee. I've redesigned my artwork section and it's time for the great unveiling.

Added a revised and revamped MaryD's Artwork that includes all the episode montages, Xena, Gabrielle, Xena & Gabrielle, Conqueror, Lucy, Renee and now Tarzan art. In total there are 392 pieces of art from 1996 to 2003.

When a friend of Jane's (Sarah Wayne Callies) sister Nicki (Leighton Meester) goes missing, they suspect a man (guest star Marcus Chait) she met over the Internet may be responsible. Meanwhile, as the search for Michael's killer continues, Jane begs Tarzan (Travis Fimmel) to keep out of sight for his own safety, but when Nicki lands in grave danger, Tarzan finds it impossible not to help.

News about the show's progress
From The Rocky Mountain News - 3 November 2003
The WB hasn't made programming changes despite a mediocre start for most of its new series. Most disappointing is the performance of Tarzan , which has been losing viewers every Sunday following a solid premiere.

I received the following note that would be of interest to Lucy, Kevin, Danielle et al fans..

Hello Everyone,

I'm posting to let people know about a petition I've put online for the book
"Stage: A decade of plays from the Auckland Theatre Company." The ATC had
planned to release a photo-retrospective of its first 50 productions,
featuring photographs by leading photographer John McDermott, with narration
by former artistic director Simon Prast. Many of New Zealand's finest actors
have been a part of the theatre company over the years: Kevin Smith;
Danielle Cormack; Lucy Lawless; Joel Tobeck; Craig Parker; Michael Hurst;
Jennifer Ward-Lealand; Elizabeth Hawthorne; Stuart Devenie; Erik Thomson;
Marton Csokas; Liddy Holloway; Jeffrey Thomas; Ilona Rodgers; Latham Gaines;
Paul Gittins; Peter Elliott; Roy Billing; Jonathan Hardy; Ian Watkin;
Michael Lawrence; and others. However, it was recently decided by ATC's
board of directors that there would not be enough interest in the book to
justify publication costs, so they cancelled it.

I believe that there is a great deal of worldwide interest in this book, so
I decided to put together an online petition, so that fans of these
wonderful actors could let the ATC board know how they feel. Oddly, the ATC
is still advertising the book on their website, so you can get (a little)
more information here: http://www.atc.co.nz/Events/2003/stage.htm. In
addition to what would no doubt be a wonderful collection of photographs of
some of our favorite actors, NZ$10 of the retail price of the book would be
donated to the Kevin Smith Trust Fund.

If you would like to see this book be published, please sign the petition!

Thanks very much.

My best wishes,
Julie

I don't usually post ebay auctions on the site but I thought this was for a good cause. Debra is auctioning off Gabrielle's Shakti costume from the Season 4 episode "Devi". She is auctioning this off to save her bookstore. For more information go to:

...ALL OF THESE DEVELOPMENTS seem to demonstrate that being gay is the new cool thing in TV-land. And with a little sprinkling of fairy dust, what would happen if many more shows embraced positive gay themes.
...On “Tarzan,” Jane would leave the title character for the jungle man’s aunt (the lovely Lucy Lawless) and the heartbroken Tarzan (ex-underwear model Travis Fimmell) would go skulking off alone.
