Copyright 1998 The Federal Capital Press of Australia Pty Limited The Canberra Times February 9, 1998, Monday Edition Part TVG; Page 14 PROGRAM PREVIEWS: [snip] Xena: Warrior Princess, Ten Capital, 8.30pm: If only Lucy Lawless could gain another role apart from that of Xena she has such a dramatic range: goodness, badness, coquettishness, snarlingness, kick 'em in the goolies-ness. In this action-packed, voyeuristic episode, Xena swaps bodies with her arch- enemy Callisto, who while not as voluptuous as Xena, still is politically incorrect enough to be gorgeous. It ends with Castillo-Xena having left Xena-Castillo still in the underworld so next week, the two sirens will swap bodies again. Confused? Don't worry, it's only the plot. What does concern me is that Xena, Castillo and second-banana Gabrielle, never, ever change their clothes. Xena is always stuck in her form-fitting leather armour. No wonder she has such a bad temper, the warrior woman must be always so hot and bothered. Our rating: sweaty viewing. David Sibley
