PROGRAM PREVIEWS:

[snip]

Hercules, Ten Capital, 7.30pm:

Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) takes on the villainous Klaxon and his cronies in
to night's brawling episode, but during a lull has a mystical interface
with Soleste, a ghostly bimbo.

She is a kind of Big Bosomed Reaper who floats along to assist those
whose time has come and to guide them to wherever the dead go when she
guides them.

Hercules, using as much manly charm as one can use on a spectrechick who
is not flesh and blood, begs her not to take his best friend. Our rating:
inspired trivia. Ian Warden

Xena: Warrior Princess, Ten Capital, 8.30pm:

Caucasian Xena passionately kisses a black man and fights a creature
part- pterodactyl part-Bronwyn Bishop in tonight's eventful episode set
sometimes in Macedonia in 1940 and sometimes back in the peculiar medieval
times when Xena was alive and (groin) kicking. Lucy Lawless plays not only
Xena but, in the 1940 bits, a girly scholar afraid of moths let alone of
the kind of flesh-ripping Pterodactyl Woman that brave Xena biffs in her
stride. Our rating: magically multi-racial tonight. Ian Warden
