Xena's x-citing debut

FANS of Xena: Warrior Princess, hang on to your chakrams. Xena star Lucy Lawless (above) is set to return to our screens in another X show - the X-Files.

The best thing to come out of ``Nu Zeland" since the Qantas flight to Sydney has signed on to appear on several episodes of the long running sci-fi series.

X-Files producers are no doubt hoping Lawless will perk up fans pining for the show's main characters, Dana Scully (played by Gillian Anderson) and Fox Mulder (David Duchovny).

Duchovny left the series last year and Anderson is considering an exit at the end of the next season.
