AUCKLAND: Lucy Lawless, television’s Warrior Princess, Xena,
has slashed and kicked her way on to New Zealand’s rich list with $8 million in her
war chest.
Lion Nathan chairman Douglas Myers is still NZ’s richest person, with a fortune now estimated to be at least $421 million.
Lawless entered the list well in front of the country’s All Black rich, led by blockbusting winger Jonah Lomu with $2.5 million.
Other stars on the list include actor Sam Neill, $10 million. and opera singer Dame Kiri Te Kanawa with $9 million. Other rugby union millionaires include Zinzan Brooke, Marc Ellis. Scan Fitzpatrick, left Wilson and coach John Hart.
