this book from The Open Book! The website says 'not released by publisher' but the
book HAS been released (that's just a notice put up by the bookstore until their bulk
shipment arrives in the mail). Or you can purchase the book at your other favorite online
seller (it's still popping up on different sites so if you don't see it on your favorite
try another seller or just check back in a couple of days). TN and I would like to thank

America. To date we've donated $12,525 to a number of charities to celebrate Mile's

I am going to put together a page for Sept 11th. One of the things I am doing is asking
various people around the United States and the world to write down their
thoughts/feelings/initial reactions to the incident. Basically, what were you doing when
the terrorist attacks happened? What were your initial thoughts/feelings? Did you know
anything about Bin Laden or Afghanistan prior to all the coverage? How did it affect you?
Has it changed you in any way? Has it changed your view on America? On the rest of the
world? That type of thing. I am trying to get personal documentaries from various
folks for historical purposes.

say is thank heavens for cable modems <g> Hopefully the change over will go very
smoothly and you won't notice a thing.

The artwork section which I closed down a few months ago will now
re-open with the move to the bigger and spacious new ausxip home <g> Mesh, who
currently maintains the Ebook section will take over the maintenance of the artwork
section as well. Submission guidelines will be posted soon for those wishing to add their
artwork.

- Lucy has gone to another film screening - this time it's for The special screening "The Affair of the Necklace,"
a saga of celebrity and sex, greed and desire, corruption and temptation. Set in the
waning years of the 18th Century, this provocative film tells the story of how one woman's
quest for honor caused a scandal and brought down a kingdom.
The wonderful news coming out of the recent ET mini interview
with Lucy is that she's expecting her third child on April 27, 2002. In her interview Lucy
indicated that the baby is fine and she will be considering a water birth similar to
Julius' birth two years ago. The other big news is she cut her hair to shoulder length
(see ET grabs) and she is looking absolutely smashing. Added pictures of Lucy from the

A LITTLE WARRIOR PRINCESS: Former Xena: Warrior Princess star Lucy Lawless
and husband, producer Rob Tapert, expecting another baby in late April. Lawless
just completed a two-part guest spot on The X-Files
congratulations to Rob and Lucy! A baby brother or sister for Julius &
Daisy!
Over the last 2½ years Judi Mair has been doing the
screengrabs for the site. It has been a long and ardous job and I want to thank Judi for
her work and commitment as well as Carol Stephens for coding them. It was very much
appreciated by me and I'm sure by all of you. Judi & Carol will no longer be doing the
grabs/coding for AUSXIP. The screengrabs and multimedia files will now be done by Ruru ( treeelf@earthlink.net ) and myself (ausxip@optushome.com.au ) So be gentle with us
- we are relative newbies at this.
On another issue I am looking for a new home for AUSXIP. If
anyone has any recommendations for web hosts with lots and lots of space <g> please

As mentioned yesterday, Lucy attended the world premiere of Spy Game in Los
Angeles. the pictures are coming through and Lucy looked absolutely smashing! She has
changed her look (a little) with a shorter hair style but it's still dark.

Keep watching for Lucy on ET, because it may happen. But I
found out she's
doing the syndicated movie review show called Hot Ticket that is hosted by
Leonard Maltin. The company that produces ET also does this show and we're
not sure if the piece they filmed will be on ET or on Hot Ticket. But Lucy
will definitely be doing the Hot Ticket show. She was sent to the movies
to see Black Knight and Spy Games. Check your local listings for channel
and time.

- The big news to come from Lucy's latest interview on The Late
Late Show with Craig Killborn is that Lucy is changing her "look" from the Xena
look (dark hair) she had for 6 years. The ET interview/segment may reveal the new Lucy as
Sharon Delaney so cryptically told us about.
- As mentioned before Lucy will be appearing on stage in The
Vagina Monologues. The season will run from February 14, 2002 until March 16, 2002, Monday
& Tuesdays at 6:30 pm and Wednesdays to Saturday at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $41NZ for
evening shows and $29NZ for matinees. It's been produced by the Auckland Theatre Company.

This is a gentle reminder to folks about my montages. I don't mind AT ALL if
they are downloaded (please), I don't mind if they are printed or if you use them for your
desktop or wherever you wish. What I do mind is when you sell them on Yahoo Auctions or
Ebay. Firstly I don't own the pictures that the montages were created with (Ren Pic, SUSA,
Creation - and the list goes on) and therefore it's one HUGE copyright infringement and it
has been known for sites to go byebye when or if TPTB decide to play nasty. (Ren Pic and
SUSA have been fantastic in not bothering with Xena sites which house grabs, music vidoes,
fanfic, etc. Others have not been so leniant - Fox closed down MANY X-files fan sites and
Buffy sites were also targeted) PLEASE do not put the montages on any CD and sell
them, auction them off on Ebay or Yahoo Auctions.
The montages were created for fun and not to be sold.

- All the UNSIGNED Monopoly games have been reserved and I cannot take any more

Lawless says she did the guest shot "for love" because she respects Carter. But
"the others would have to make sense, and a business sense, if you know what I mean.
. . ."I know the producers have been very good to me, and I would love to be good to
them and their show," Lawless says. However, "you work like a dog for six years
and being the star of your own little show. And to go and be a fifth wheel on somebody
else's would have to be rewarding in a lot of ways."

As has become a tradition during the holiday season, Sword and Staff will be matching up
Xena fans who want to buy gifts for needy children, who without some outside help might
otherwise go without gifts or just something special for the holiday season. This year we
will be lending support and sending gifts to at-risk infants and children and I have
contacted three organizations who do wonderful work to help seriously ill or needy
children. Those groups are Caring for Babies with AIDS, My House, and Nurses for Newborns.

- Dutch Xena Fans
Finally, Xena will actually return to Dutch tv (first it was yes, then it
was no, then it was yes, then it was never). Yorin will start airing Xena,
probably the first ep of season 4, on December 5 (the birthday of
Sinterklaas (our christmas eve so to speak *G*)), at 5.10pm. The first
couple of episodes will be reruns, then it's on to 'new' eps (the rest of
season 4 and hopefully season 5 as well).
